How does it work?
The first of its kind, Profhilo has risen dramatically in popularity quite simply due to its amazing results. Its unique formula works at a cellular level with it stimulating collagen and elastin production, as well as boosting hydration. Put simply, when injected, it delivers plumped and firmed up skin. And the hydration results are spectacular, so much so that it has even been referred to as the ‘injectable moisturiser’ by Vogue!
Am I suitable?
Anybody who is seeking to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to tighten their skin with a ‘lifting’ effect, improve areas of skin laxity and texture, or simply looking to brighten their complexion, then Profhilo is definitely a treatment to consider. We would not recommend this, or any injectable treatment if you are either pregnant or breastfeeding.
Does it hurt?
The area will be numbed with a local topical anaesthetic cream to reduce any discomfort. The area being treated will be painlessly injected with Profhilo via a tiny needle. The product then spreads underneath the skin for these amazing results. The treatment requires no downtime, however, you may experience minimal swelling and bruising in the area in the first few days following the treatment. Avoid any strenuous exercise for 24 hours following the treatment and the use of arnica gel will assist with rapid healing.
How long does it take?
The length for each procedure is around 15 minutes. The process itself involves two treatments carried out four weeks apart. The first is to stimulate whilst the second boosts and ensure the longevity.
How safe is it?
Profhilo is absolutely safe. Profhilo is highly biocompatible because it is made from ultrapure, natural Hyaluronic Acid and is stabilised without the addition of any chemical cross-linking agents.
How much does it cost?
The team at Soprano Ice Edinburgh pride themselves on providing the highest standard of customer care and always listening to client needs and expectations.
Prices for Profhilo start from £275.00
