What happens when you combine some of the most popular treatments available on the market today with the most hydrating and advanced facials? The immediate restoration of younger, smoother looking skin and all without the need for injectables – yes, really!
So what exactly are these popular treatments today? Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning and Microneedling; they may sound like a mouthful but are actually fantastic therapies that you can depend on to deliver.
Microdermabrasion, is a deep exfoliation treatment that removes the dead and dry outer layer of the skin’s surface. Microdermabrasion reveals the fresh and healthy skin underneath. It also comes with real health benefits, including an increase in oxygen and nutrients to the skin, reduction in superficial sun damage, inflammation, superficial pigmentation and acne scarring as well as improving the circulation of the skin.
Dermaplaning is a less deep method of skin resurfacing than microdermabrasion and is just perfect for those with dry skin. A sterile, surgical scalpel gently removes the top layer of dead skin from the surface of the face, along with the ‘peachy fuzz’ hair – and don’t worry, it will not grow back either thicker or darker! But it can help with superficial scarring and uneven skin tone, as well as benefiting those with sensitive skin or rosacea. Perfect!

Am I suitable?
Both microdermabrasion and dermaplaning are offered as stand-alone treatments, however, with both treatments shown to enhance the absorption of skin care products by up to 50%, it’s when we add them to our signature facials range that things start to get really exciting! And all of the Fusion Facial treatments are finished off with the use of our LED light mask that deliver deep rejuvenation.
We offer The Microdermabrasion Fusion Facial that has been designed to deliver oxygen and hydration to another level! If you are looking to revive and restore the balance of your skin through the removal of the dead skin cells then this is the Fusion Facial for you as the Intraceuticals serums are applied to extract all impurities and your skin is boosted with the application of oxygen.
The Dermaplaning Fusion Facial is perfect for removing the build-up of dead skin cells and vellus hair – perfect for you if you are looking for a clearer complexion and tone as the power of oxygen will restore hydration and harmony!
The Egyptian Fusion Facial uses a glycolic peel – THE peel that all the magazines are talking about! The peel is gently applied to your face and is followed by dermaplaning to remove the build-up dead skin cells and vellus hair. This is the treatment for you if you are looking for the latest in approaches to skin care with the use of peels.
If you are looking for a treatment that stimulates collagen and elastin fibres to promote brighter, tighter and younger looking skin, then The Dermapen (DPM8) Fusion Facial is the answer for you! This Fusion Facial is delivered by tailored micro needling as well as the Intraceuticals serums.
Does it hurt?
The Dermapen (DPM8) uses multiple needles that pierce the skin vertically with minimal pain when compared to traditional Dermaroller rejuvenation. The high speed vibrating function of the Dermapen dramatically reduces pain and discomfort.
The Egyptian Fusion Facial’s use of a peel means is can feel a little tingly but that is eased when the acid is neutralised.
Dermaplaning is non-invasive and so requires no recovery time but be extra vigilant with SPF as your skin is especially vulnerable in the sunlight.
The Microdermabrasion Facial is non-invasive as well and often referred to as ‘the lunchtime facial’ because of its convenience and effectiveness!
How long does it take?
Allow for up to one hour for each Fusion Facial apart from The Dermapen Fusion Facial which will take 90 minutes.
How safe is it?
All treatments are completely safe. The Dermapen element is performed with the use of a sterile Dermapen needle head with only slight redness which will disappear over the next 24 to 48 hours.
The Egyptian Fusion Facial means that the face may be a little red and dry so the use of moisturiser, vitamin serums and SPF for at least five days after the treatment are recommended.
The Dermaplaning Fusion Facial carries no downtime at all and we continually monitor your skin during The Microdermabrasion Fusion Facial and adjust the strength accordingly.
How long will it last?
Each of The Fusion Facials have different results and timescales for results, however, the use of oxygen means results that are instant and long-lasting. However, a single treatment with The Microdermabrasion Fusion Facial can remove up to three times the number of dead skin cells in a single session and we would recommend a course of six.
The Dermaplaning Fusion Facial means a month filled with results and The Egyptian Fusion Facial is recommended once every 12 weeks.
The results for the Dermapen is are at its most potent between seven and ten days after treatment, however the best results of one single treatment can be seen up to three months later as collagen is continually growing and maturing in the skin over a 90 day period.
You will be able to discuss expectations and required outcomes during your tailored one-to-one session with one of our qualified therapists.
