At what age did you know you would become a professional footballer?
As soon as I could kick a ball my dream was to be a footballer. Thankfully for me my dream came true!
If you hadn’t become a footballer, what else would you have liked to do?
Before I became a footballer I was a printer, but I really wanted to be a joiner.
Do you prefer playing or managing?
I don’t think anything beats playing but management gives you great satisfaction, knowing you are responsible for all the players and hopefully make them better.
Do footballers discuss skincare in the dressing room? Is there plenty of skincare products on show?
There isn’t too much in the management room (apart from myself!) I would imagine there would be as even tough footballers look after themselves more nowadays.
You won 28 caps, you must have travelled to lots of interesting places – do you have a favourite?
My favourite would have to be Paris. The opening game against Brazil doesn’t get much better.
Do you have a favourite spa/skincare treatment?
Obviously the Elemis Biotec Facial at Soprano Ice Edinburgh
What’s still on your bucket list?
I must go to Bora Bora
Which film have you watched more than any other?
It’s either Top Gun or Dumb and Dumber…..classics
Finally, what did you think of your facial?
Absolutely wonderful. When you can fall asleep when someone is giving you a facial, that’s when you know you’re in the hands of an expert!
