Sometimes the list of beauty treatments available from clinics and salons can be a little confusing, not to worry, we’re here to help with our straightforward treatment guides.

Our treatment guides cut through the jargon and give you the information you need to make an informed decision.

At Soprano Ice Edinburgh we always provide you with an in-depth consultation before you book any treatments, but we also know it’s nice for our clients to be able to access information themselves too. We hope you find our treatment guides useful.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

We are so lucky at Soprano Ice Edinburgh to be able to collaborate with Dr David Jack, one of London’s leading anti-ageing skincare specialists. He visits us on a monthly basis and is fully qualified in the administration of anti-wrinkle injections. He prides himself on his results and delivers a premium service using the best products and methods available today. His “less is more” approach means he avoids the infamous “frozen” look, previously associated with anti-wrinkle treatments.

The treatment involves tiny injections into the face to relax the superficial muscles of the skin that create wrinkles. The typical areas treated are the lines between the eyes, forehead, and crows feet. These treatments usually involve between 5-8 small injections per area with a tiny needle. Discomfort is minimal and treatment time is usually around 10-15 minutes.

At Soprano Ice Edinburgh one treatment area costs £150, two areas £250 and three areas £350. Additional small areas cost £95.

The effects of anti-wrinkle injections are not immediate, it takes around 3-7 days for any effect to be noticed. The results usually last between 3-6 months, after this period it is recommended the treatment be repeated to continue the effects. Patients do find that with repeat treatments the effects last longer, meaning less treatments are needed over time.

This treatment can also be effective in dealing with excessive sweating of armpits or palms of hands. Treatment for this at Soprano Ice Edinburgh costs £450.

The average age for anti-wrinkle injections is between 35-44, it is not a surgical procedure and it should always be done by a professional. If you would like to arrange a consultation with Dr Jack, please contact us.
